Laura Burk

Lorelai (Laura Burk) is a 22 year old bum who is obsessed with tweaking nobs (even if she doesn't know what they're for) and plucking strings. She is probably very stupid for posting her entire name on the internet, but she decided it'd be better to risk this than come up with a silly alias name she'd inevitably regret choosing.

Laura plays guitar, piano, bass, drums (like a white girl), and over the past year has been exploring the world of digital music. This includes softsynths, korg drum machines, and multliple guitar center items she will never be able to afford unless she randomly becomes rich on one of those pyramid schemes.

She was in her first band when she was 15, although if you ever ask her about it, she'll probably try to change the subject. Her garage was a constant site for mangled noise as she learned various instruments with various groups that dwindled out like most high school bands (and graduating classes) do. She sang backup vocals from time to time, but shied away whenever asked to sing lead.

When it became apparent that no one was around for her to continue playing music with, the digital realm became much more appealing. Not only did it offer a new set of aesthetics to explore, but it also allowed for a complete song to be created without dependency on other musicians. She also began to sing on these solo tracks because no one else was around to get it done. She is VERY pertinent in saying that she will never consider herself a vocalist, only a musician...and anyone who dares contest that statement has obviously never heard her belt out "Bohemian Rhapsody" in an enclosed environment (i.e. vehicles).
