Biography

born and raised in hawaii. favored the subject of art at an early age. began practicing film photography shortly after graduating high school in 2003. self-taught. assisted friend willy branlund (kind of like a mentor). began taking basic photography courses at leeward and windward community college in hawaii. favored the film and darkroom at wcc. currently attending the art institute of pittsburgh (online division) and majoring in website and interactive design. continues to study photography (both digital and film) outside of work and school. resides now in san juan capistrano/dana point in california.

twin sister: jena (artist, songwriter, and writer); older brother: bret (engineer and secretly an artist); mother (teacher); father (photogrammetrist/project manager). family lives in hawaii.
