Artist Comments:
This is the first of a series of four paintings on canvas I made for a group show at MOHS Exhibit in Copenhagen. The theme of the show is LIFE IS A CASINO, so the pieces are inspired by cards symbols - CLUBS, HEARTS, DIAMONDS and SPADES. Each of these has a bunch of meanings, they can either stand for the four elements, four seasons, etc.
I thought they can connect with the TIME theme as the Four Seasons, four big periods in life.
So the first is SPRING - represents the freshness and inspiration of youth
